Congratulations Carmel Elementary and Elm Road Elementary!

Winners of the 2008 - 2009 Get Jumpin' Fit School Contest

Carmel Elementary (Carmel, IN) and Elm Road Elementary (Mishawaka, IN) will each receive $1,000 to improve fitness resources or enhance its school wellness policy. These two schools will also receive visits this May from the Indy Air Bears jump rope team and Radio Disney! 4th grade students will receive their own official Jump Kids Jump Movement® jump rope and goody bag with prizes from our partners.

The 4th grade students and staff at these two schools jumped to victory by tracking their jump rope practice and completing other healthy challenges (like AHA's Jump Rope for Heart events). 35 elementary schools around the state got their students jumping in this year's contest - over 3500 kids!
